Hartell Introduces New Mini-split Condensate Pumps for Reliable Air Conditioning Performance Summer after Summer
Quiet, compact, cool – Hartell’s newest pumps are small in size but powerful in performance.
Ivyland, PA | July 6, 2020 – Hartell, a commercial grade condensate pump manufacturer and Ingersoll Rand brand, has partnered with UK manufacturer Hydron to develop an advanced residential pump product line. This release introduces two new options for mini-split air conditioning pumps and three advancements to legacy reservoir pumps for full-scale air conditioning units. The technology offers significant advances in ultra-quiet operation and simplified maintenance.
The new line of mini-split condensate pumps will have models available for all types of split air conditioning systems where the need for condensate removal requires a pump. Both the HYP-RS and HYP-D models will feature a diaphragm pump for quieter operation than existing piston pumps in the market, as well as advanced design features allowing for reduced maintenance between warm seasons.
The HYP-RS model is a two-part system combining a pump and remote sensor, ideal for installations where space is limited. The remote sensor can be mounted up to six feet away from the pump motor. The HYP-D model is a one-piece reservoir condensate pump that can be mounted directly on the drain pan outlet or, if required, inside line set covers.
Key features include:
- Unique universal voltage ranging from 100 – 240 v AC (50/60 Hz)
- Superior 45,000 BTU cooling capacity
- 25” operational pumping head
- Miniature size, requiring small footprint
- Ultra-quiet diaphragm pump motor 19 dBA
- Easily accessible sensor or reservoir via clip-locks – no special tools required for cleaning and maintenance
- Advanced remote sensor design for easy maintenance and prevention of float malfunction
- Removable filters
In addition to the new mini-split pumps, the Hartell and Hydron partnership has also led to the reinstatement and enhancement of Hartell’s legacy residential reservoir condensate pumps, including the HYP-MT1, HYP-MT2, and HYP-MT4 product models. As a best fit for larger scale air conditioning units, these pumps also offer options for ultra-quiet operation and small footprint. Advancements in the HYP-MT2 offer the product’s standard solutions now with the smallest footprint on the market, and an added advantage of a high torque DC motor, helping with operation in low flow rates.
With the introduction of these new products and advancements, Hartell continues to be a leader in the residential and commercial HVAC industries. Learn more about Hartell at http://hartell.com/.
