Merrow Introduces New, Supremely Delicate MicroPurlâ„¢ Stitch
Fall River, MA - The Merrow Sewing Machine Company is no stranger to innovation in the sewing industry, and the new MicroPurl™ stitch is no exception. Smaller than any other available stitch, MicroPurl™ offers elegance and delicateness in its less than one-millimeter (1/32”) overlock design. No other stitch comes close to matching the tiniest-ever stitch. MicroPurl™ delivers a one-of-a-kind measure and subtleness that make it unnoticeable to the skin in clothing, ideal for lingerie, baby garments, and even ultra-delicate medical equipment. Sewing at 5500 rpm, Merrow’s MicroPurl™ machine uses cam-driven architecture and a specially-designed roller apparatus to produce such a fine, rolled stitch. The machine, along with the rest of Merrow’s Couture line, has a glossy maroon coating to set it apart from the MG-Class and promote its decorative use. MicroPurl™ machines take advantage of the decorative two-thread stitch, allowing multi-colored threads for visually interesting stitches. MicroPurl™ is designed to accentuate all delicate fabrics, like chiffon, silk, and gossamer. With MicroPurl™, Merrow redefines precision for fine edges.
