Richardson RFPD Introduces New High-linearity DOCSIS 3.1 CATV Amplifier from MACOM
18 dB gain, low noise figure gain block operates from 45–1218 MHz
April 15, 2018 – Geneva, Ill.: Richardson RFPD, Inc. announced today the availability and full design support capabilities for a new RF amplifier for CATV applications from MACOM Technology Solutions Inc.
The MAAM-011220 provides 18 dB of ultra-flat gain while biased at either 8 or 5 volts. The amplifier provides excellent linearity, high gain, low noise and low distortion, making it ideally suited for 75 Ω infrastructure applications.
The MAAM-011220 is fabricated using GaAs pHEMT technology and is assembled in a SOT-89 plastic package.

- 8 V, 130 mA or 5 V, 110 mA operation
- Flat gain: 18 dB
