Low Noise 12GHz PLO with Internal Reference
Broomfield, Colorado - March 3, 2020 - Z-Communications, Inc. is pleased to announce a new RoHS compliant fixed frequency phase locked loop operating in the Ku-band. The RFS12000C-LF is a plug and play PLO which is designed to produce a fixed signal output at 12GHz. Utilizing an internal 10MHz reference clock, this unmatched PLO makes for simple integration into any system as no external programming is required. This simple to use RFS12000C-LF features a typical low noise performance of -72dBc/Hz, -86dBc/Hz, and -116dBc/Hz at the 1kHz, 10kHz and 100kHz offsets, respectively.
The high performance RFS12000C-LF is designed to deliver an output power of 0۬±3dBm while operating off a two input supply voltages. The VCO voltage supply is configured for 5Vdc and drawing 95mA and a PLL voltage of 3.3Vdc while drawing 15mA. This unmatched product features a typical harmonic suppression of -30dBc and spurious suppression of -65dBc. It is housed in Z-COMM's standard SFS-L1 package measuring 1.0 in. x 1.0 in. x 0.22 in. The RFS12000C-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and is available in tape and reel packaging.
