New Long Hose Technology Extends Reach of Gas Pressure Washers

Super Max(TM) machines support hoses up to 300 feet for cleaning environments, such as food manufacturing and healthcare, which do not allow gas units indoors.

WOBURN, MA - Daimer® Industries, a global innovator in pressure washer design, announced a technology that allows users to place a gas-powered or gas-heated base unit outdoors or in a safe indoor location, connect a long hose and clean indoor areas up to 200 feet away. Safe indoor locations include well-ventilated boiler or equipment rooms. Long Hose Technology (LHT®) prevents drops in pressure over extended distances. The new capability has been incorporated across the Super Max(TM) line of pressure washers. Certain models can be equipped with hose lengths to 300 feet.

"LHT means customers can use their pressure washers in virtually any application without concerns about fuel or exhaust," explains Matthew Baratta, a Daimer.com spokesman. "We expect these units to be popular for cleaning sensitive indoor environments such as food manufacturing, hospitality and healthcare."

Long Hose, More Versatility

The new LHT design allows the use of a long hose with minimal drop in pressure. Pressure washers without this technology can lose significant cleaning power with hoses of this length.

The technology is incorporated in all Daimer®'s fuel-powered and fuel-heated units, including 6000, 7000, 9000, 12000 and 15000 series pressure washers. These machines include mobile and stationary units. The Super Max(TM) line includes standard hoses ranging from 25 feet to 50 feet, depending on the unit. Customizable hose lengths are available as options for all pressure washers. Longer length hoses can be made in sections and joined with quick couplers for convenience.

Special Technology for Electric Powered Units

For users of electric-powered pressure washers, Daimer® also offers another technology for worker operating long hoses: Automatic Shutoff Technology® (AST®) shuts down the pump/motor after 30 seconds of inactivity. As a result, workers operating far from the base unit can take breaks without having to manually shut the unit off each time. The units resume operation with a flick of the trigger wand.
