JESCO Debuts Flexible LED Neon Lights: Gives Designers the Creative Potential of Neon with All the Benefits of LEDs

New Product Introduction: DL-FLEX2 LNTB (Neon Top-Bend) and DL-FLEX2 LNSB (Neon Side-Bend) — flexible, technologically-advanced, top- and side-bend LED neon lights that provide designers with the creative potential of neon with the numerous benefits of LEDs.

Product Applications: DL-FLEX2 Neon Top-Bend and DL-FLEX2 Neon Side-Bend produce exceptionally white or colored LED lighting for a wide range of creative indoor, outdoor, damp and wet installations. These include, but are not limited to building outlining, outdoor gardens, path, and contour marking, indoor/outdoor display lighting, signage, accent and edge lighting in retail, hospitality, commercial, institutional, as well as upscale residential uses. Anywhere the look of neon or the need of a perfect bendable and flexible light strip is needed.

Product Description: An advanced silicone extrusion process results in both Neon Top-Bend and Neon Side-Bend having a sleek appearance that allows each to meet any design need. Onboard constant current IC chips control each LED; this provides uniform intensity and output over the entire run plus temperature control. Both are highly flexible, impact and weather resistant and are field-cuttable with visible cutting marks on the back. Each has a maximum run length of 30 feet and can be cut every 2 inches. 

Six color temperatures are offered, ranging from 2700K to 6500K producing from 149 to 164 lumens from just 2.74-watts per foot, with an efficacy of 54.5 to 60 lumens per watt. Red LEDs produce 61 lumens from 2.74 watts per foot with an efficiency of 22.3 lumens per watt. Green LEDs produce 152.4 lumens from 2.74 watts per foot with an efficacy of 55.6 lumens per watt, and Blue LEDs produce 36.6 lumens from 2.74 watts per foot with an efficiency of 13.4 lumens per watt; all have a CRI of 80+. Each have a 50,000 hour lamp life and a five-year factory warranty.

Construction & Finishes: Neon Top-Bend and Neon Side-Bend are constructed from durable, flexible, advanced silicone extrusion and are 5/8” Wide x 5/8” High and 7/16” Wide x 13/16’’ High respectively, with 36 LEDs per foot. Multiple surface mounting options are available: bracket, mounting clip or aluminum channel. They can be purchased by the foot or in 30-foot reels. If purchased by the reel, silicone glue, caps and power feeds are needed. Multiple wiring methods are available: tail-side, edge-side, bottom-side.

DL-FLEX 2 Neon Top-Bend and DL-FLEX 2 Neon Side-Bend are c-UL listed; IP65 rated for dry, damp and wet location applications and are dimmable with a variety of dimming options.
