New Jet Electric Chain Hoists and Trolleys Give Wide Range of Projects a Lift
ELGIN, ILL. - The new JET® SS Series Single Speed Heavy Duty Electric Chain Hoists and JET DS Series Dual Speed Heavy Duty Electric Chain Hoists put plenty of lifting power into a variety of assembly, repair and maintenance jobs. Dual-speed (DS) hoists provide the added advantage of matching lifting and lowering speeds to different tasks, whether precisely aligning subassemblies or quickly and efficiently moving raw materials.
Both SS and DS Series electric chain hoists can be equipped with the JET ET Series Electric Trolley (optional), which features the same quick-connect cords for fast and easy set-up and installation.
JET SS and DS Series Electric Hoists
JET SS single-speed hoists and DS dual-speed hoists are built for reliable duty in commercial and industrial environments. The cost-effective, hassle-free hoists are easy to install, inspect and maintain.
Both SS Series single-speed and DS Series dual-speed hoists are equipped with heavy duty, ventilated motors rated from 7/8 to 2-1/7 hp. Their load capacities range from ½ to 5 tons. SS Series hoists are available in single- or three-phase models, while DS hoists come in three-phase models only.
Single-phase SS hoists incorporate a solid state starting switch, eliminating a mechanical centrifugal mechanism and reversing switch. Three-phase models feature reverse phase protection, which prevents damage from accidentally incorrect wiring.
Gear trains feature lifetime lubrication which eliminates the need for oil changes. All models come standard with slip clutch overload protection, chain containers and drop-forged, heat-treated hooks that swivel 360 degrees for convenient rigging.
Quick-connect wiring is provided for power and push button controls, which makes set-up and installation easy. The hoist also has a dependable electromagnetic brake that holds loads even if power is interrupted. Upper and lower limit switches prevent over-travel.
All hoists are rated H3 with a 25 percent duty cycle rating for single-phase models and 30 percent duty cycle rating for three-phase models. They comply with OSHA, ANSI/ASME B30.16 and HST-1 standards. Both SS and DS Series electric chain hoists carry a two-year limited warranty.
JET ET Series Electric Trolleys
JET ET Series Electric Trolleys are an ideal complement to the JET SS and DS Series electric chain hoists. These trolleys and hoists feature the same quick-connect cords, which allows fast set-up and installation because no rewiring is needed.
ET Series trolleys come in a wide choice of capacities. All models are designed to provide single-control convenience and versatility to overhead lifting applications.
ET Series trolleys are available in 115/230-volt single-phase or 230-volt three-phase motor configurations. They feature a smooth and dependable solenoid-operated traveling brake. The trolleys are adjustable to fit various size I-beams or wide-flange beams, and can be mounted with either lugs or hook pins.
ET Series trolleys are protected from harsh shop or industrial environments by a durable powder coat finish. They must be fitted with a JET four-station, 24-volt push button control. The trolleys are covered by a two-year limited warranty.
