New Improved Package for P-80 1 Pint Containers

Burlington, New Jersey, USA – International Products Corporation (IPC) is pleased to announce the debut of a new metric container and updated package design for the pint size of P-80® Emulsion temporary rubber assembly lubricant. A new 475 mL bottle will replace the 1 pint container; it will be available in cases of 6 and 12. For those wishing to utilize a sprayer with the new bottle, a case of 6 containers packed with 6 spray tops will also be available. Additional spray tops can be purchased separately, and are sold in cases of 12.

A few years ago, IPC replaced its quart and gallon sizes with similar metric containers and induction sealed caps which greatly cut down on any leaking or damage caused during shipping. The transition to the new 475 mL bottle will begin in early 2016. Once the transition is complete, the pint containers will no longer be sold. Although the container will be changing, the P-80® product composition will remain the same. P-80® lubricants are specially formulated assembly aids that enable rubber parts to slide easily into place with minimal force. Once dry, P-80® stops lubricating and parts remain in place, resulting in a tight fit.

Advantages of the new 475 mL bottle include:

• Stronger bottle and cap induction seals prevent leaking and reduce in-transit damage. Passed drop test: ISTA-6-FedEx-A.

• Easy-to-store containers – The rectangular base allows for optimal use of warehouse and shipping space.

• New sprayer option may enhance ease of use.

• Global metric sizing.

• Updated appearance and more detailed, informative label.

• No current price change for the improved package.
