This new, small footprint integrated system, a USFilter technology, combines Memcor membrane operating system units with proven Siemens biological technologies such as the Envirex Orbal and VLR systems, aerated anoxic process and Cannibal solids reduction process to provide a full line of membrane bioreactor (MBR) processes. The SmartMBR control package is at the heart of each of these combined systems. Water Technologies is a division of the Siemens Industrial Solutions and Services Group (I&S).
The membrane operating system, paired with an Envirex Orbal or VLR oxidation system and aerated anoxic process, is designed for operators seeking activated sludge, advanced secondary sludge treatment, simultaneous nitrification-denitrification, biological phosphorus removal or stormwater treatment and reduced energy consumption.
