EPRO Introduces New HotDeckâ„¢ Hot Rubber Waterproofing System
Multi-layered hot fluid-applied rubberized asphalt better protects decking systems
WICHITA, KS… EPRO Services, Inc. (EPRO), an innovator of composite waterproofing, methane mitigation, and vapor intrusion systems, introduces HotDeck™, a hot fluid-applied asphaltic membrane waterproofing system.
HotDeck features a 215 mil reinforced layer of HD.membrane that cures to form a seamless, fully-bonded, thick, resilient, and highly-flexible waterproofing membrane.

Ideal for split-slab deck applications, pedestal paver decks, and vegetative decks, the HotDeck system is comprised of:
- 1st Layer: EPRO HD.membrane 90 mils
- 2nd Layer: EPRO HD.skrim reinforcement
- 3rd Layer: EPRO HD.membrane 125 mils
- 4th Layer: EPRO HD.cap1 or HD.cap2 — a premium polymer modified fiberglass protection sheet
- EPRO e.drain 6000 — a lightweight three-dimensional, high-compressive strength polypropylene core and bonded non-woven geotextile fabric.
Together, the components of the HotDeck system provide redundant layers of long-term waterproofing protection. They also protect the rubberized HD.membrane from physical damage through the construction process and UV exposure.
“The transition from the below grade system to the above grade system is crucial, and while we have a cold-fluid applied deck waterproofing system, some of our clients only want hot-applied,” he says. “We aim to provide our customers with a full range of options and also the type of warranty they seek.
