RACO Introduces Hinged Mud Rings to Speed Installation

South Bend, Indiana December 10, 2019 - RACO introduces a line of hinged mud rings. These new electrical box covers offer flexibility to electricians for faster rough-in electrical work. RACO, part of Hubbell Commercial Construction, provides innovative electrical products to commercial, institutional and residential markets.

RACO's new mud rings, or plaster rings, help installers work quickly with devices going into electrical boxes. The hinged design frees up both of the installer's hands for wiring. Devices such as switches and outlets can be attached to ring first, which then swings out of the way for wiring.

Perfect for boxes mounted behind drywall or ceramic tile, these rings ensure that devices are mounted flush to the wall surface. The rings are available with raised fronts to match ½" to 1-1/2" wall thickness. A variety of one and two gang models are offered for use on 4" square boxes. All models are UL Listed and accept standard devices such as switches, duplex receptacles and GFCI devices.

The company's new hinged mud ring help maintain code-compliant installations in any commercial or residential application. Six different models are offered.

RACO Hinged Adjustable Mud Ringswill be available in December 2019. Find more information at www.hubbell.com.
