New Heavy Duty PTOS Are Nearly Maintenance Free

Twin Disc Introduces New Remote-Controlled PTO
Twin Disc, global leader in industrial power take-offs, expands its innovative lineup with the remote-controlled RC211 and RC311. With a completely new design, they're virtually maintenance free and ideal for difficult-to-service applications. They excel anywhere a heavy-duty disconnect clutch is required, such as construction, mining, snow removal, forestry, agriculture, recycling and other severe applications.
RC series PTOs are hydraulically-actuated with self-adjusting dry clutches, utilizing 220–300 psi of engagement pressure. There are no pilot bearings, and the main bearings are oil-lubricated for long life. An optional advanced control system can be used for soft-starting high-inertia loads. Both the RC211 and RC 311 are suitable for side load and in-line applications and are available with SAE #1, SAE #2, & SAE #3 housing sizes.
The RC211 has two organic friction plates, while the RC311 has three. Optional sintered iron plates are available to increase torque and horsepower capacity.
The maximum input power and torque rating of the RC211 is 247HP (184kW) / 909 lb-ft (1232Nm) and the RC311 is 371HP (277kW) / 1620 lb-ft (2196Nm).
