Fort Worth, Texas – May 20, 2021 – TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, has in stock for immediate shipment Amphenol’s new PowerLok G2 Heavy-Duty Power Connector, featuring RADSOK® contact technology. TTI and Mouser Electronics are the exclusive distributors for the new Amphenol product.

Amphenol’s PowerLok G2 Connector features a 60A to 500A operating current, making it ideal for high-power applications and is designed for harsh environments. Its RADSOK technology is based on a stamped and formed flat grid uniquely twisted into a hyperbolic geometry to provide high reliability, high density contact to the mating pin contact.

The PowerLok G2 offers a quick locking lever with connection position assistance (CPA) and high-voltage interlock (HVIL) integrated for high vibration. This 1000V, 1-3 pole series connector provides IP67-IP6K9K in mated condition and IP2X in an unmated condition and is available with different color coding and mechanical keying options. It also features full aluminum housings with 500 hour salt spray, EMI cable termination and EMI coil spring on the receptacle as well as current carrying capacity over shielding of 20% of the connector power. Right-angle and straight-plug versions are available.

Applications include battery packs, power distribution, inverters, eMotors and DC/DC converters for all heavy equipment, transit, commercial vehicle, construction, agriculture and mining market segments.
