New Pressure Sensor for Sanitary Installations
The new Ashcroft® E2 sanitary pressure transducer combines next generation sensor technology with an electropolished seal for pharmaceutical and food applications. Designed with a Tri-Clamp® connection, this transducer mates quickly to sanitary processes and can be easily removed for cleaning. With ingress protection ratings up to IP67, the 316L stainless steel housing guards against moisture penetration during wash-down. External offset/span adjustments are easily performed using a magnet. This advanced design eliminates the need for access holes or removing the connector to access the offset/span potentiometers. The E2 offers accuracies up to ±0.25% of span at reference temperature, pressure ranges up to 1000 psi and will operate under extreme environments from -40°F to 257°F (-40°C to 125°C).
