Dart Controls Announces New Digital Controller
NEMA 4X / IP67 Enclosed DC Drive Includes Pushbutton Speed Pot
Zionsville, Indiana – February 2020 – Dart Controls Incorporated, a leader in digital technology for DC motor speed controls, announces the release of their latest digital product, the 153D‐PB Series. The 153D‐PB Series includes a state‐of‐the‐art SMT circuit inside a rugged water/chemical/UV resistant enclosure. This dual supply / dual output voltage control will handle sub‐fractional thru 2HP DC motors.
The pushbutton Speed Pot replaces traditional rotary potentiometers used to adjust the motor speed. The pushbutton speed adjustment allows for speed changes as small as 0.1% with digital accuracy. The speed setting is also repeatable from shift to shift, day today.
For those applications that need two-quadrant (reversing) control, the 153D‐PB Series offers an optional cover-mounted reversing switch.
This product is a result of customer requests for control with repeatable, accurate setting capability that does NOT require encoder feedback. The 153D‐PB Series is Dart’s answer to this need. UL/CSA certified, and ready to ship now.
