Original Press Release:

High-Voltage DC Switching Contactors from TDK/EPCOS in Stock at TTI

Fort Worth, Texas -- May 12, 2022 -- TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, has stock for immediate shipment of the B88269 HVC Series Gas-Filled High-Voltage Contactors from TDK/EPCOS. These contactors are available in bipolar and unipolar designs with continuous current capacity up to 500A and nominal voltages up to 1200V. The HVC Series is specially designed to disconnect DC circuits. They feature two magnets along the side of the stationary contacts and the contactors bridge, letting the arc run along the side to move it away from the contact points to avoid direct contact which would result in higher abrasion. The hermetically sealed design offers high reliability even under harsh environmental conditions. Most are available in single or dual coil configurations. The HVC43 Series is 30 percent smaller and 40 percent lighter than standard types.
