Anomet Composite Clad Metal Wire Features Gold and Platinum Outer Layers

New custom manufactured composite metal wire that features gold and platinum alloys clad over a wide variety of less expensive substrates is available from Anomet Products.

SHREWSBURY, MASS. (PRWEB) FEBRUARY 10, 2021 - Anomet Products has introduced custom manufactured composite metal wire that features gold and platinum alloys clad over a wide variety of less expensive substrates.

Anomet Composite Clad Metal Wire is functionally equivalent to solid products and is ideally suited for high-reliability medical and electronics applications. Featuring gold and platinum alloys clad to substrates such as copper, nitinol, platinum, stainless, or tantalum, this composite wire is metallurgically bonded and has a smooth, consistent surface finish.

Typically incorporating 2% or more cladding thickness, Anomet Composite Clad Metal Wire is ideal for use in micro-switches and rotary connectors, and for fabricating medical coils and implantable devices. More ductile and formable than electroplated wire, this clad wire is uniformly dense and will not crack or flake. Sizes start at 0.002” (0.05mm) O.D.

Anomet Composite Clad Metal Wire is typically 10X less expensive than solid precious metal products. Price quotations and samples are available.
