Red Wing Software Releases CenterPoint® Version 14

Red Wing, MN –June 25, 2019– Red Wing Software has released CenterPoint Version 14. The new version features an overhauled Publish Pay Advice function for CenterPoint Payroll. For CenterPoint Accounting for Agriculture, Mapping has been added and the Production Analysis tool has been completely redesigned for more flexibility and extensive analysis.

CenterPoint Payroll’s Publish Pay Advice, which allows employees to view their pay stub online, has been overhauled for a fresh new user experience and optimization for viewing on phones and tablets. The process of publishing pay advices is streamlined, with the ability to set availability of published advices for a future date, so there is no need to revisit after processing payroll. Users of the CenterPoint Time Clock may also now use the same login credentials from that application to log in to the Publish Pay Advice application. This overhaul provides significant time savings and ease of use for both the payroll processor as well as for employees using the system. Technology has also been updated for added security.

CenterPoint Accounting for Agriculture has a new Maps function, which allows users to define geo-spatial boundaries of a production center or production center details. The new Maps function can help farmers analyze financial as well as yield information in a visually appealing and easy to understand map, which can lead to better decision making and increased profits. Boundaries can be drawn or imported from ESRI Shape files. Users can add labels and tooltips to describe that field, and the Maps can be printed or exported. Multiple fields in a production center group can be displayed, printed, and exported as one geo-spatial map. The Production Analysis tool within CenterPoint Accounting for Agriculture has also been completely redesigned for added flexibility and extensive analysis capabilities. Comparisons can now be made by any of the production details maintained in the system. An analysis spreadsheet is available, which gathers data columns from transaction activity and performs calculated columns and rows. Calculations can access other sources as well, such as acres and total production stored in production center details.
