New Mold Carrier Consoles from Wabash
Wabash MPI has announced a new line of Carrier Consoles for fast and easy mold changeout applications. Quick die change is a widely recognized lean manufacturing method.
These Carry Consoles allow users to place their molds on these extensions and roll them into the press for faster and easier mold changes. They can be fitted to virtually any press either during the initial press build or retrofitted in the field. They can also be easily removed for “no-tool” operation.
Features include straight line conveyor roller bars to assist with quick die change, easy removability for clear access and standard adjustable mounting plates. Carrier Consoles are available to 40” long with optional transition sections to bridge any gap between the platens. They are designed to support molds up to 4500lb.
Wabash MPI also offers standard and custom hydraulic and pneumatic presses for production and laboratory environments.
