Capacitive Measuring Gauge for High Precision Gap Measurements

The capaNCDT MD6-22 from Micro-Epsilon is a capacitive measuring device designed for mobile, high precision gap and distance measurements. Robust but lightweight, this dual-channel handheld gauge is used for commissioning, service and maintenance. It’s easy to use and simplifies the storage of measured values for evaluation purposes.

The mobile capaNCDT MD6-22 dual-channel handheld gauge detects gaps in industrial environments to micron accuracy. Measurements are possible on all conductive targets. Its robust design makes this gap gauge ideally suited to measurement tasks where magnetic fields are present. Fields of application are found in plant and machine building, wind turbines, construction and maintenance of turbines and engines, as well as test benches.

The capaNCDT MD6-22 is lightweight, extremely handy and offers touchscreen operation. Furthermore, different features are preset in the factory such as automatic gap detection, which simplifies parallel alignment of the flat sensors for double-sided measurements.

The memory function ensures increased flexibility, enabling the user to determine the measurement values on different points, to store these on a micro SD card and use them for future evaluation.

The complete measuring system consists of a dual-channel handheld gauge and a capacitive capaNCDT sensor. Compatible with any capacitive sensor from the Micro-Epsilon product range, the capaNCDT MD6-22 is suitable for a wide range of applications.
