Summit Appliance Brings Black Stainless Steel Under the Counter
The Built-In Specialists Introduce the Industry’s First Complete Lines for Undercounter Installation
Bronx, NY—Summit Appliance, a division of Felix Storch, Inc. (FSI), has launched a new series of built-in undercounter and ADA compliant refrigerators and freezers in black stainless steel. This new finish follows a growing trend in the appliance industry, but is the first complete line sized for use under the counter.
“It’s been a long time since the appliance industry has seen a new style catch on so quickly,” says Paul Storch, President of Felix Storch, Inc. “Black stainless steel is here to stay, and we’re excited to bring it to the built-in market.”
The new finish is applied to 304 grade stainless steel wrapped doors, all designed to be user-reversible and equipped with a handle in brushed stainless steel. The “basalt line” series features a high gloss neutral look that is fingerprint-resistant and can be cleaned with a dry cloth. The option is available on Summit’s 15 inch, 18 inch, and 24 inch wide lines of matching refrigerators and frost-free freezers. ADA compliant versions sized at 32 inches high are offered with the 18 inch and 24 inch lines.
