TAB Wrapper Tornado “Perfect Storm” Secures Pallet Loads Fast
Reading, PA: Orbital wrapper manufacturer TAB Industries, LLC, Reading, Pa. (www.tabwrapper.com), has introduced its fully automated Perfect Storm wrapping system in two, new models as standard. Previously offered with a 100-inch wrapping ring as standard to accommodate 60” x 60” pallets, the Perfect Storm is now offered with 40-inch and 80-inch wrapping rings to accommodate 24” x 24” and 48” x 48” pallets, respectively. Custom sizes for wrapping oversized products are also now available. The new models were developed to meet demand for the fully automated wrapping system in sizes that suit compact, low-profile products, and products of virtually infinite lengths, without over-specifying.
Applying the company’s patent-pending technology from its TAB Wrapper TornadoR line of orbital wrappers, the automated Perfect Storm continuously conveys pallet loads into the wrapping ring and wraps them in plastic film 360 degrees around and under the pallet to create a secure, unitized load that stays intact during storage and transportation. Sensors monitor, stage and control pallet feeding, wrapping and discharge. With a PLC controller, the Perfect Storm enables a single operator to manage the operation, wrapping pallet loads in as little as 15 seconds per pallet. The Perfect Storm is manufactured in the company's Reading, Pennsylvania headquarters and ships with its conveyors, controls and standard accessories ready for installation.
