ADURA LED Solutions ALTERNA™ LINEAR patented AC LED technology offers superior performance compare to existing AC Solutions in the market. The ALTERNA™ LINEAR AC LED modules help lighting manufacturers by reducing the cost of total fixture, quick time to market and simplify manufacturing process.

In addition to eliminating a large DC LED Driver, the ALTERNA™ LINEAR AC Module increases lighting fixture life time due to the absence of lifetime limiting components like electrolytic capacitors. The ALTERNA™ LINEAR AC LED module is offered at various CCT (2700K – 6500K) with CRI options of 70, 80, 90+. 

For luminaire designers there is a huge advantage to have a completely flat AC LED module. A recent breakthrough in AC LED circuitry has made possible a 3mm thick AC LED module, that has 0.92 power factor and 16% THD, meaning that it is possible to design a complete luminaire 5mm thick! Previously AC LED modules were limited to about 30W by the control chips used, but with this new technology there is no longer any limit on power. The flicker index of 0.26 is 35% lower than previous generations of lower power AC LED modules. This is due to the patented technology (US patent 9585212).
