New Add-On Offers Canto Cumulus Job Routing, More
Job routing within Canto Cumulus just got a whole lot easier thanks
to WorkflowManager, a new Cumulus add-on released today by Canto partner Moksa, Inc.
Originally developed by Moksa as a custom Cumulus integration for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Moksa president Vince DiPaola saw an opportunity to bring WorkflowManager to the larger Canto Cumulus market.
"Once we fine-tuned WorkflowManager to meet the demanding and advanced
requirements of the WWE, we knew we had the nucleus of something that would benefit virtually all Cumulus organizations," DiPaola said.
Based on a modular architecture, WorkflowManager comprises a number of "tasks" that work together to enable customers to create advanced, multi-step workflows that include job routing, approvals based on voting, user-to-user communications and more.
A browser based interface offers access to files and work directives for freelancers and others working outside the organization's Cumulus system.
"WorkflowManager turns Cumulus into a hub for all works in production," explained DiPaola. "This is a natural extension to the core capabilities of Cumulus."
WorkflowManager is available for Mac OS and Windows. Canto Cumulus 8.0 or higher is required.
