UTICA (NY), UNITED STATES - June 23, 2008 - Anritsu Instruments Company, a subsidiary of Anritsu Corporation, a global provider of operational support solutions for advanced and converged networks, announced today the availability of many new software enhancements for the Gigabit Ethernet module for the CMA5000.
Continued enhancements to the widely deployed CMA 5000 Gigabit Ethernet test application, these new features further expands the test capability and ease of use to ensure QoS for your end customer.
With the continued strain of Ethernet networks due to high bandwidth triple play services further expands the test capability required to maintain and troubleshoot these networks. The new Anritsu channel statistics feature provides extensive insight and troubleshooting capability which will decrease deployment issues and decrease downtime when problems do arise.
The new added features expand the test capability to provide a very versatile yet cost effective test solution for complex Ethernet services.
New features
o TCP and UDP encoding which allows testing of the higher layer protocols, ensures the network is performing as engineered to ensure to meet SLA.
o The channel statistics option provides over 40 statistics per IP conversation pairs on the network for more detail analysis and network error isolation
o All new BERT application for network provisioning
o Sequence test and IP Jitter measurements to evaluate links for use with time sensitive applications such VoIP and IPTV.
