Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, announces the new Pathway® Model 7423 RJ45 Cat5 A/B/C/D Switch with Serial Remote Control port and Board Only design that allows users to share a single RJ45 interface device connected to the Common port among four other devices. This convenient Network Switch provides the user with board mounted pushbutton control or remote control via ASCII RS-232 Serial Data sent through its remote port. Users can remotely monitor status, control switch functions, and lockout the front panel pushbuttons.
This 4-Position Switch meets Cat 5 compliance standards with all signals passing through copper contact relays maintaining their position and continuity even in the event of power loss. Switch ports are also transparent to all data.
