This uniprocessor entry server delivers solid, economical performance by coupling a 3.06 GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor with high-speed, PC2100 CL2.5 ECC DDR SDRAM UDIMM and ATA-100 EIDE storage or Ultra160 SCSI subsystems.
The xSeries 205 server uses the Intel Core chipsets (845E) to optimize throughput from processors to memory and to the 32-bit PCI bus.
