Chesapeake(TM) Ushers in New Era of Network Processors, Empowering Multimedia Triple Play Networks With Performance Scalability to 100G Ethernet
SAN JOSE, Calif., May 22 -- Bay Microsystems, Inc., the world's fastest growing network processor company, today announced Chesapeake(TM), the world's highest performance network processor. Chesapeake is the first 40G (gigabits per second) programmable network processor and includes Bay's exclusive MTM(TM) (Multimedia Traffic Management) technology.
