RADCOM's Omni-Q Now Providing Softswitch Monitoring for Wireless Networks

BARCELONA, Spain, February 13/ -- RADCOM, Ltd. (NASDAQ and TASE: RDCM), a leading network test and service monitoring solutions provider, today announced that it has extended the capability of its Omni-Q monitoring solution to include Softswitch monitoring.

Omni-Q is a single platform, vendor and technology-neutral monitoring solution that can help operators improve service quality, cut costs, and increase revenue. Eyal Harari, RADCOM's VP, Products and Marketing, said, "Omni-Q already provides operators with full end-to-end monitoring of their Core network. Now they can extend the same solution to include monitoring of the Softswitching domain, including full visibility into subscriber transactions and a full range of Softswitching analysis with BICC, Megaco, ISUP and MAP support, with correlation of VoIP, SS7 and Sigtran."

Softswitching solutions are being deployed to deliver over-IP connectivity between service providers and even between different large sites within the same operator's network. Based on IP, this service is highly sensitive and its load is enormous. With Cellular operators' revenue dependent on the ability to provide smooth inter- and intra-connectivity, they will now be able to extend their GSM, UMTS or CDMA network view to assure quality of service in the Softswitch domains.

RADCOM's one-stop solution delivers support for high performance needs, to allow real-time analysis and real-time detection of service problems.
