Performance Technologies Offers Signaling Address Solution with Full TCAP Support on SEGway(TM) Point Code Emulation(TM)
ROCHESTER, N.Y. and ORLANDO, Fla., March 27 -- Performance Technologies (NASDAQ:PTIX), a leading developer of communications platforms and systems, announced today at CTIA Wireless 2007 significant enhancements to the industry's only complete dedicated Signaling network address translation solution, SEGway(TM) Point Code Emulation(TM), with the addition of support for TCAP message types. This new capability allows application servers supporting wireless applications -- including Home Location Registers (HLRs), Mobile Switching Centers (MSCs) and enhanced services such as CLASS features -- to seamlessly expand capacity, as multiple application servers can be aliased under a single point code.
SEGway Point Code Emulation is the only dedicated network solution that offers service providers the ability to transparently configure, expand and manipulate network elements without disrupting or reconfiguring the Signaling network.
