Bundled Security Solution to Offer Secure Tape Backup to Customers

MILPITAS, Calif., Dec. 18 -- NeoScale Systems, the independent leader in enterprise storage security solutions, today announced the immediate availability of NeoScale's award-winning CryptoStor(TM) Tape appliance as part of its multiple bundled security solutions available through Fujitsu Limited. Fujitsu will offer NeoScale's CryptoStor(TM) Tape appliance as an OEM product to deliver secure backup solutions in Japan for the Fujitsu ETERNUS LT tape libraries. The bundled solution will assist customers in complying with initiatives such as Japan's Personal Information Protection Act and other privacy initiatives.

Fujitsu performed extensive testing, evaluation and competitive product comparisons before selecting the NeoScale CryptoStor Tape appliance as the best tape security solution in the market. Fujitsu's bundled security solution for tape, using NeoScale's CryptoStor Tape appliance, meets and exceeds the unique needs of a customer's backup and archival application environment:

o Open Systems customers with existing Fibre Channel environments can
secure tape backups on Fujitsu ETERNUS LT Series tape libraries using
NeoScale's CryptoStor Tape appliances which are deployed on a Fibre
Channel network.
o Customers requiring a packaged archive solution can deploy a Fujitsu
ETERNUS SP5000 Series network storage server. ETERNUS disk arrays and
ETERNUS LT tape libraries along with a CryptoStor Tape appliance enables
secure archiving of networked storage.
