New Hyde Park, NY - Techno, Inc. Linear Motion Systems introduces the New Narrow Profile Slide 2 designed to carry heavy loads and constructed from a single rigid aluminum extrusion profile. Available with single or dual carriage options, the Narrow Profile Slide 2 is capable of speeds up to 24"/second depending on the motor/drive package. This compact slide can be ordered in lengths up to 2722 mm (107.2"), and has three sides of T-slots for easy mounting on any machine assembly.

"The Narrow Profile Slide 2 is for customers who need space and reliability," says Joe Griffin, Linear Motion Systems Sales Manager, "It is only 75 mm wide, but fully capable of carrying loads of up to 250 lbs. Inside each Narrow Profile Slide 2 are two precision steel rails, bearing blocks and a 16 mm diameter anti-backlash ball screw drive that ensure overall accuracy and durability."

Narrow Profile Slide 2's can be affixed with a stepper or servomotor side mounted or inline.
