New Nano Drive From Square D / Schneider Electric Makes It Easy To Replace Electromechanical Controls In Small Machines
PALATINE, Ill. - August 29, 2002 - A new nano drive from Square D / Schneider Electric delivers the latest sensorless flux vector technology in a compact footprint for small machine applications. The ALTIVAR® 11 AC drive is designed for 1/4 to 3 HP motors, making it a competitive replacement for electromechanical controls in two-speed motor or DC applications.
Available in 115V and 230V single phase and 230V three phase, the ALTIVAR 11 drive features built-in drive motor thermal protection for maximum run time and reliability. With wiring configuration similar to a contactor's, the new drive is easy to install and start up. It features two or three wire control and has four logic inputs, one fault relay and one digital output. Switching frequency is adjustable from 2 to 16 kHz.
