The new, cutting-edge Nakashimada Hot Former leverages Ambrell's EKOHEAT induction heating system
Scottsville, NY - Ambrell, a leading manufacturer of induction heating systems, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Nakashimada to supply induction heating systems. Nakashimada is using the Ambrell EKOHEAT induction heating system within its new NP121HF Hot Former hot forming system.
Nakashimada is a leading manufacturer of forging systems for a variety of industries, including automotive and aerospace. The NP121HF Hot Former is a two-die three-blow hot forming system that rapidly and efficiently heats and forges fasteners. It is a complete turnkey system that offers clients the latest output-enhancing hot forming technology.
Within the system, the heating component is driven by the Ambrell EKOHEAT 45kW/100kHz induction heating system. Induction's consistency leads to unparalleled repeatability, while its rapid heating boosts productivity. Additionally, it only directs heat where it's needed on the fastener, which is efficient and minimizes residual stress on parts. Finally, induction's instant on/instant off heating minimizes energy consumption. For these reasons, induction is an ideal solution for "hot heading" or hot forging.
