Unrivalled Innovations - The New UNTHA 4-Shaft Shredders

Kuchl - UNTHA shredding technology, inventor of the UNTHA 4-shaft technology re-launches the most popular versions of the reliable RS series. The types RS30 and RS40 were completely re-engineered, thus offering operators even better process stability.

"Despite its technological maturity it was time to review the product design and to even better adapt it to our customers' requirements", says Christian Lanner, head of the UNTHA development department.

The new UNTHA 4-shaft shredders with notorious UNTHA quality were developed in only one year's time and now provide even more value to our customers. Innovations such as maintenance-free mechanical seals, wear plates as a standard, an integrated central lubrication system, electronic oil level monitoring and an integrated screen quick change system ensure even more reliability.

For increased user-friendliness, the control panel was attached directly to the machine. Due to a special hopper design, the machine can now be charged from all four sides. The compact and thus space-saving steel frame design with integrated mounting flange allows for easy integration into complete systems.

It was more than 25 years ago that company founder Anton Unterwurzacher invented the innovative 4-shaft shredding technology. Back then, a businessman had the requirement to shred wooden and cardboard boxes. Today, UNTHA 4-shaft shredders are used whenever a high degree of reliability is essential. By now, thousands of machines have been sold and are mainly employed for the shredding of problematic materials, documents and data, electronic equipment, metals, paper and cardboard, plastics and tyres. Numerous international customers such as VW, BMW, BASF, Canon, Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Sony, P+G, Sappi or Swarovski, to name but a few, speak for this unique technology.

The new UNTHA 4-shaft shredders will make their debut at the IFAT ENTSORGA 2010 in Munich. Here in hall C2 at stand 313 / 412, interested visitors have the opportunity to see for themselves the numerous quality features. UNTHA shredding technology is looking forward to seeing you!
