Christie C1290 Series Type Multiple Battery Charger
Clore Automotive introduces the C1290, a series type multiple battery charger, from Christie. The C1290 unit is designed to simultaneously charge up to six 12 Volt batteries in series at a 12 amp rate. Perfect for gang charging multiple batteries quickly and effectively, the C1290 is ideal for a variety of military, transportation and industrial applications.
Designed to charge 12 Volt batteries in series, the C1290 can output from 0-90 Volts at 12 amps, allowing it to charge up to 36 cells (six 12 volt batteries) to a final charging voltage of 15 volts each. It features rate control switches that provide for coarse and fine control of charging output levels. Each switch offers eight positions for accurate control of charging current. Like all Christie battery chargers, the C1290 is made in the USA and features rugged construction and robust components for long service life. The unit includes hardware to make the series connection for six batteries.
