In-Depth LabVIEW(TM) 6i Multimedia Training Course Available On CD

AUSTIN, Texas - Oct. 30, 2001 - National Instruments today announced the newest version of LabVIEW Basics I Computer-Based Training. With this set of in-depth, multimedia lessons, LabVIEW-engineers have the flexibility to learn the basics of LabVIEW 6i at their own pace without traveling from their homes or offices.

This interactive course is available on CD and introduces engineers to LabVIEW fundamentals with step-by-step instructions for hands-on exercises. An interactive user interface combines animated illustrations, audio, and text, teaching engineers to create, edit, and debug applications; display data in graphs and charts; use analog I/0, digital I/0, and counters with NI or third-party hardware; control external instruments using GPIB and serial communication; and more.

Engineers with some LabVIEW experience also can benefit from the course's timesaving tips such as using loops in applications or creating decision-making code with case structures.

LabVIEW Basics I Computer-Based Training is a low-cost training option for engineers with limited traveling or training budgets who cannot attend the dedicated two or three-day instructor-led courses. Engineers can complete the computer-based lessons in their own homes or offices in a few days or divide lessons over several weeks to fit their schedules.
