Clarion Launches All-New In-Dash DVD Multimedia System with Improved iPod Interface and Video Functionality



GARDENA, Calif., Jan. 5 - In its on-going efforts to constantly improve upon their key products, Clarion Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of mobile entertainment systems enhances the appearance and full-featured functionality of its new VRX765VD.

Clarion's top-of-the-line VRX765VD single DIN with motorized 7-inch flip- out touch-screen, is a redesigned and improved version of its already awesome award-winning predecessor, the VRX755VD. The VRX765VD multimedia unit's newest offering is the soil-resistant finish touch-screen controlling DVD menu options and an improved iPod user interface. Its all-new appearance lends to easy operation and it now offers video playback for the iPod with video.

The new iPod button on the faceplate makes it easy to activate the interface. The faceplate is magnetic so it is simple to remove for storage. With 200 watts of max power, the 3 Band parametric EQ, Magna Bass EX and 24- Bit D/A Converter all lend to the awesome sound from this 2-zone entertainment system. The single play DVD mechanism plays DVD Video, CD Audio and Video CD and a host of audio formats including MP3/ WMA and encoded CDs. The VRX765VD is not just a front-seat multimedia system, it offers rear-seat passengers the option to enjoy many audio and video features as well. The system has compatibility to many Clarion CeNET optional accessories like DVD Changers, TV Tuners or Dolby Digital/DTS 5.1 Channel Processors.

The VRX765VD has an M.S.R.P. of $1,099.99 and will be available in February 2006.
