Developed by BCI to modernize hotel and convention center connectivity, it offers twelve different audio, video and data (AVD) transport functions in a miniaturized card cage that installs into industry standard floor or wall boxes. It combines the compact, high capacity functionality of fiber-optic cabling systems with the flexibility, performance and reliability of all-digital communications. Comparable to copper installation costs, fiber cabling systems are powered by low voltage D.C. fed through the same conduit as the fiber-optic cabling eliminating the need for technical power system or ground loops. This dramatically reduces the overall solution cost, while expanding the range and scope of multimedia services.
