The KM-C4035E Offers Fast and Reliable Document Imaging and Superior Color Output
at an Affordable Price

Fairfield, New Jersey - July 16, 2007 - Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today launched the new KM-C4035E color multifunctional product (MFP) designed for busy workgroups and mid-sized office environments interested in transitioning to a fast, reliable, color-enabled device with extremely low running costs.

The KM-C4035E offers crisp 600x600 dpi resolution printing at speeds of 40 pages per minute in black, and 35 pages per minute in vibrant color. By combining network printing, scanning and copying capabilities with a robust feature set that includes an intuitive Touch Screen Interface (TSI) and standard PDF Encryption and Compression for scanning, the KM-C4035E provides businesses with an exceptional multifunctional solution. In addition, the KM-C4035E print and scan drivers are Microsoft Vista Premium certified.

"The business color market has experienced huge growth over the past year. Users continue to demand higher-performance, cost-effective color and monochrome printing, and advanced scanning solutions for the office environment," said Bill Cassidy, associate director, product and solutions marketing for Kyocera Mita America, Inc. "With great color output and unparalleled reliability, this is truly the perfect product for any office environment looking for a simple solution which will increase their productivity and help control their costs."

The KM-C4035E utilizes Kyocera's long-life consumables technology, including long-life amorphous silicon (ASi) drums; and a class leading preventive maintenance (PM) cycle of 300,000 impressions. This extended PM cycle helps to minimize end-user costs and results in larger intervals between service visits. The Black and Cyan, Magenta and Yellow toner cartridges offer respective yields of 15,000 and 7,000 pages (at 5% coverage) and incorporate toner waste collection into the same unit, further simplifying routine maintenance procedures. The device also features a standard 40GB system hard disk drive, a variety of advanced finishing and paper handling options and optional Super G3 fax/network fax capabilities for high-speed delivery of your documents.

The KM-C4035E boasts standard duplex, and a standard paper capacity of 1,100-sheets. Businesses looking for more versatile paper handling can add paper sources and finishing options to maximize the functionality of this device. The KM-C4035E can print on a variety of media types including recycled paper, transparencies, cardstock, labels, and envelopes.

The KM-C4035E integrates seamlessly with virtually any network environment or combination of platforms including Windows®, Mac, Novell, Linux and UNIX with its standard 10/100BaseTX and high-speed USB 2.0 interfaces. Kyocera offers several layers of network and data security to deploy printing, scanning, and copying safely in any business or government environment. Security for these networked MFPs can be enhanced through the optional Data Security Kit (D), which overwrites the data of the document on the hard drive when the device is powered up, and/or after each copy, print and scan job. In addition, a standard PDF enhancement kit offers compression and encryption functionality directly from the MFP's control panel.

The KM-C4035E is fully compatible with a series of document management solutions developed by Kyocera, including:

o iTag, Kyocera's user-friendly document management solution which allows users to capture, store, share and retrieve electronic documents at the touch of a button;

o KYOcapture Express, a simplified document capture workflow solution designed for small to medium sized businesses allowing users to capture paper documents, index and OCR them for full-text search capabilities directly from the MFP; and

o KYOcapture powered by AutoStore, a large workgroup/enterprise document capture workflow solution which enables select Kyocera MFPs to seamlessly capture, process and route paper or electronic-based documents to multiple locations and document management systems.

The KM-C4035E is available through authorized Kyocera Mita America dealers at a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $13,109. To find the nearest dealer, visit Kyocera Mita America's dealer locator at www.kyoceramita.com/us .
