IOtech Introduces the Industry's Lowest Priced 16-bit, 200-kHz Data Acquisition Boards

CLEVELAND, OH, January 2005 - The hotly-contested PCI daq board market has a new low-price leader in the sweet-spot of today's market - multifunction 16-bit/200-kHz boards. IOtech's new DaqBoard/500(TM) series sets a new price/performance benchmark at just $199 in 5-piece quantities ($249 single-quantity price). These new boards present a significant cost savings to OEMs and end-users looking for low cost PCI data acquisition. They are priced at up to 33% less than the lowest priced 16-bit competitors.
There are two DaqBoard/500 series boards available. The DaqBoard/505(TM) offers sixteen channels of 16-bit analog inputs, 24 digital I/O lines, and one counter input. The DaqBoard/500(TM) also provides two waveform-capable 16-bit analog outputs. High performance features found on higher cost PCI boards including waveform capable outputs and DMA bus mastering are standard on the DaqBoard/500 series.

Optional Out-of-the-Box(TM) DaqView/500(TM) software provides immediate board setup, data acquisition, and data display, without the need for programming.
