The NSS evo2 has a sleek, modern extremely low-profile look with classic black or brushed silver trim panels that maximize screen size in a minimal footprint. Available in 7-, 9-, 12- and 16-inch screen sizes, the ultra-bright widescreen displays enhance the appearance of any helm. The Simrad NSS evo2 features TouchSensible™ multi-touch control with logical keypad input and push-to-select rotary knob for precision control in any sea condition. The system offers quick and seamless multi-touch access to performance features with an intuitive icon-driven menu interface. Charts can be moved, zoomed and personalized with familiar tablet-like gestures, while new pre-set screen splits and data panel configurations are optimized for widescreen viewing whether fishing or cruising.
Offering boaters powerful navigation versatility and an unprecedented selection of simple, plug-and-play expansion capabilities, the NSS evo2 provides full autopilot integration with a dedicated navigation screen for cruising. For serious anglers, the NSS evo2 features the best built-in fishfinding technologies on the market including the BSM-1 Broadband Sounder, BSM-2 CHIRP sounder and StructureScan® HD. The NSS evo2 is compatible with all innovative Simrad performance modules including Broadband 4G™ and 3G™ Radar; GoFree Wireless Wifi-1; SonarHub™ Sounder, SonicHub® marine audio server; Sirius® satellite weather/radio and more. Fully customizable, boaters can network up to six NSS evo2 multifunction displays, view engine data and control onboard devices through digital switching. The system is also equipped with a HDMI video output for compatible monitors and video input for night vision camera support.
The NSS evo2 multifunction display features a high-performance, high-gain integrated GPS antenna for clear, strong and accurate positioning whether it is flush-mounted or bracket mounted with included hardware. Like all Simrad NS Series MFDs, the NSS evo2 supports the widest choice of cartography options in the market; compatible cartography includes Nautic Insight™ and Lake Insight™, Jeppesen C-Map Max-N charts, Navionics® Gold and Platinum, Insight Genesis™ and a variety of other third-party charts. NSS evo2 users can even navigate using two distinct chart types simultaneously.

Available December 2013 from authorized Simrad Yachting dealers and distributors throughout the United States and Canada, the Simrad NSS7 evo2 and NSS9 evo2 and have suggested retail price (SRP) range of US $1,529 to $2,949, respectively. The NSS12 evo2 and NSS16 evo2, with SRP ranges of $3,999 to $5,699, will begin shipping in March 2014. The NSS evo2 series displays have a two-year limited parts and labor warranty and are protected by the Simrad Advantage Service Program.
