New High Reliability OC-3 / OC-12 Multi-Channel TX / RX
TORRANCE, CA - April 19, 2001 - Optobahn Corporation announces the availability of their new high performance OC-3 and OC-12 multi-channel TX/RX.
They are offered in a 4 channel Transceiver configuration, and an 8 channel or 12 channel Transmitter/Receiver pair. All are compatible with single channel transceivers and short reach (SR) links up to 15km.
The OC-3 and OC-12 modules offer high reliability operation and pure transmission. They are produced using a 1310 nm edge-emitting laser and are provided in a hermetically sealed package to insure the ultimate in stable performance. Optobahn's OC-3/OC-12 are manufactured to conform to Telcordia standards GR-468-CORE and ISO9001and are competitively priced.
The surface mount packaging is solder reflowable and utilize a standard MTP® (MPO) optical interface. They are also Class I FDA, Class 1 IEC laser safe.
Operating temperature is 0°-80°C.
