Lincoln Electric's New Power Wave® 355 ArcLink®

The Latest in Lincoln's Nextweld(TM) Technologies for Multi-Process Welders

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Any fabricator searching for a reliable, technologically advanced, multi-process welding system need look no further than The Lincoln Electric Company's new Power Wave® 355 ArcLink® power source with Power Feed(TM) 10M wire feeder featuring push-pull aluminum MIG capabilities. The Power Wave is capable of Stick, TIG, MIG, Synergic MIG, Pulsed, and Flux-Cored welding as well as arc gouging.

And because manufacturing systems around the world are going digital, the Power Wave 355 ArcLink utilizes Lincoln's digital communication protocol - ArcLink - for welding, making it the best choice for seamless, time critical integration to the power source and networked equipment.

The Power Wave 355 is factory programmed with over 60 standard Waveform Control Technology(TM) welding programs, allowing for selection of the right wave shape for numerous applications. For each program, the arc has been optimized for each wire type and size for exceptionally smooth arc performance. Tighter control of welding process variables, ease of equipment use with a high degree of process versatility, and improved weld consistency are just a few of the benefits of Waveform Control Technology, a Lincoln Nextweld(TM) innovation.

Adding to its versatility, the Power Wave 355 has tremendous input power flexibility. It can operate on any input voltage from 200 to 575 volts three-phase power, or 208 to 575 volts single-phase power. The unit's rated output is 350 amps at 60 percent duty cycle and 300 amps at 100 percent duty cycle.

When it comes to aluminum, the push-pull capability of the Power Feed 10M allows for the ultimate in aluminum welding. Controls at the wire feeder, rather than at the power source, make it easy to select all welding parameters close to your work. Also, Lincoln's Pulse-on-Pulse(TM) Welding Mode improves cleaning action when welding aluminum and delivers a TIG-like appearance to the weld bead.

Lincoln's Power Mode(TM) maintains a stable, smooth arc for short arc welding on thin materials and the Power Wave's state-of-the-art inverter technology provides high power efficiency, excellent welding performance and a lightweight, compact design. Rigorous environmental, mechanical and weld testing ensures ruggedness and reliability.

The Power Wave 355 ArcLink is manufactured under a quality system certified to ISO 9001 requirements and is covered by a three-year warranty on parts and labor.

The Lincoln Electric Company, Cleveland, Ohio, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of arc welding equipment and consumables, robotic welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment.
