MRI-Safe Mobile Examination Lamp Now Available
Randolph, Vermont October 1, 2006 One of the challenges medical professionals in MRI suites encounter is performing a growing variety of procedures on patients, that require improved lighting. In 2005, AADCO Medical, Inc. developed an MRI-Safe Lamp for ceiling mounted lighting systems. AADCO successfully developed a lamp that would operate safely in a 3 Tesla MRI Lab environment, with high illumination output of 48,000 Lux @ 0.8 meters, a focusable light field, and ergonomic friendly positioning capability.
But not all MRI Suites have facilities for ceiling mounted equipment. To meet this need, AADCO now has introduced an MRI-Safe Mobile Examination Lamp on a floor mounted mobile base. Utilizing the same MRI-Safe Lamp, independently tested as safe in a 3 Tesla MRI environment and mounting it on a unique offset mobile stand, that allows the user to roll the light close over the table, the MRI-Safe Mobile Examination Lamp meets many lighting needs in the MRI Lab.
It also features outstanding ergonomic versatility allowing users general ease of movement, rotation about the horizontal and vertical planes and beam focus adjustments 14 to 22 cm, all with single hand operation making AADCO's MRI-Safe High Output Mobile Examination Lamp the most advanced product of its type, available for MRI Labs today.
