Axiomtekâ€™s MPC102-845 â€“ EN 60601-1 Certified 10.4â€� Medical-grade Touch Panel PC

Axiomtek - a world-renowned leader relentlessly devoted in the research, development and manufacture of series of innovative and reliable industrial computer products of high efficiency - is introducing its newest EN 60601-1 certified 10.4” medical-grade panel PC, the MPC102-845. This compact medical touch panel computer is powered by the Intel® Celeron® processor N3060 with fanless and noiseless operation. It adopts a 10.4-inch XGA TFT LCD display with resistive touchscreen and 350 nits brightness. Certified for medical applications, the MPC102-845 is designed to be integrated with nursing carts and medical devices as a point-of-care terminal or infotainment terminal.

Its mechanical design has passed the ESD immunity test with 15kV air discharge and 8kV contact discharge to ensure operational safety in the challenging healthcare environment,” said Tony Chen, a product manager of Product PM Division at Axiomtek. “Moreover, its lightweight and ultra slim design with a thickness of 45.8 mm provides excellent space efficiency and greatly enhances the mobility and flexibility. Due to its fanless design, the 10.4” medical PC offers reliability, zero maintenance cooling cost and proves valuable for noise-sensitive environments such as patient rooms, nurses station and clinic.”

The 10.4-inch MPC102-845 can withstand temperature ranges from 0°C to +45°C and up to 2G vibration. Its IP65-rated spill/dust-resistant front bezel can protect it from outside liquid in hospitals. This durable medical panel PC offers multiple I/O interfaces including one RS-232 port, one RS-232/422/485 port, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, and one audio (Line-out). There is also an easily accessible external switch for AT/ATX mode selection. One 204-pin DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM socket with up to 8 GB system memory is available. Additionally, the space-saving panel system provides two PCI Express Mini Card slots for RFID, 3G, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection, allowing real-time patient data checking and processing. For sufficient storage, it features one 2.5” SATA HDD and one mSATA.

The fanless MPC102-845 provides choices of two types of power input: a medical grade AC/DC power adapter with screw type connector and a DC power input with terminal block connector. Users can easily disable or enable the touchscreen function with a convenient, on/off single-touch button on front panel. It also supports panel mount, wall mount, VESA arm and desktop stand, making it easily deployed in various healthcare environments. OS support includes Windows® 10, Windows® 8.1, Windows® 7, WES 7 and WE8S.
