Mpact® Downhole Motors Sets New Drilling Record


Conroe, Texas - Mpact® Downhole Motors is proud to announce that it set a new Permian Basin -New Mexico Drilling record on May 7, 2012 using an Mpact® Downhole Motor. The field performance record was for the fastest recorded vertical section. The assembly drilled a total of 3,164 feet in 13.5 hours, for an average ROP of 234.4 ft/hr.

The Mpact® Downhole Motor was configured with Mpact's 7833 performance power section with a displacement of .14 revolutions per gallon. The motor also utilized a premium high-performance stator elastomer, a straight fixed housing and slick sleeve.
