Moxa W321 Meets e-Mark Certification

Moxa is glad to announce that the W321 wireless embedded computer with WLAN has passed e-Mark certification.

Why you need e-Mark certification

EC directives and ECE regulations require all automobiles, motorcycles, and related components imported by EU member states to be in conformance with a range of safety standards for drivers and the environment. The e-Mark indicates that a product complies with all the relevant regulations of a specific nation. This ensures that all automobile and motorcycle products sold by manufacturers and operated by users conform to basic safety and environmental standards. All products covered by regulatory controls must be tested and certified, and display the appropriate mark. Products without an E/e-mark may not be sold or used in these member states.

The W321 is an embedded Linux computer that features 2 software selectable RS-232/422/485 ports, and supports the IEEE 802.1a/b/g standards for WLAN connections. In addition, the computer has 1 Ethernet port, and comes with an SD socket for storage expansion. The W321's Linux OS runs on the Moxa ART 32-bit ARM9 processor, and provides a powerful and reliable platform for harsh, industrial environments. You will find these computers ideal for a variety of machine-to-machine applications, including data acquisition, protocol conversion, and remote device control and monitoring.
