MOUNTING PLATES CAN BE CONFIGURED FOR VARIOUS USES
BOSTON, MA - New lightweight aluminum mounting plates from Kinetic Systems provide a flat, stable surface for mounting sensitive equipment. These mounting plates are ideal for a variety of uses including OEM applications, prototyping, instrument bases, optical assembly, and others in medical
research, aerospace R&D, and semiconductor manufacturing.
The Series 7000 Mounting Plates provide a low-cost alternative for applications that need damping, but do not require a higher-performance vibration-damped workstation or breadboard. Half an inch thick with a black anodized finish, the portable, nonmagnetic plates are available in five standard sizes up to
24" x 48", with a flatness of ±0.030" over a 24" x 24" area. They weigh 0.05 lbs. per square inch.
The size, thickness, and shape of the mounting plate can be customized to meet specific application needs. Plates are available with or without mounting holes, which can be tapped on an English (1/4-20 x 1") or metric (M6 x 25mm) grid or in custom patterns.
