New Right Angle Mounting Plates Provide Easy Slide Assembly in Automation Applications

NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y-- A new line of Right Angle Mounting Plates from Techno, Inc., provide easy assembly of slides and tables with their unique right angle design and fully machined surfaces. All mounting surfaces are milled flat to 0.05 mm while they are perpendicular to 0.1 mm, thus making it easy for customers to mount and assemble. Techno's new Right Angle Mounting Plates can be used in conjunction with any Techno Slides to build XY or XYZ positioning systems. The plates are complete with numerous through holes on a 25, 50 or 100 mm grid.

"Our New Right Angle Mounting Plates ensure that mounted slides are at complete right angle, to one another easing alignment issues and lowering assembly time. The major benefit of our mounting plates, however, is that they are already machined and prepared for usage so the customer can concentrate more on running their system than assembling it," says Joseph Griffin, Linear Motion Products Manager.

Each of these die-cast aluminum alloy mounting plates features high thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance to guarantee long-lasting durability. The new Right Angle Mounting Plates are available in five different sizes, with wall thicknesses ranging from 12 mm to 15 mm for resistance to larger forces and vibrations. Four out of five sizes can also be fit with an optional cover plate completing the overall look of the machine.
